Pico Genesis FX
PICO Genesis FX is a more intensive version of the Pico Genesis treatment. It is a non ablative fractionated rejuvenation treatment that uses a Micro Lens Array (MLA) to deliver 1064nm wavelength deep into the skin. In other words, it delivers fractionated, high energy picosecond pulses within the skin.
Pico FX creates a mild trauma to the papillary layer of the skin, which in turn stimulates collagen and elastin production. Pico FX is able to breakdown unwanted pigment and rejuvenate the skin, not only on the face but body too.
This treatment targets those concerned with skin aging, texture, scaring, open pores, and sun damage.
Pre-Treatment
All clients receive a thorough skin consultation with a dermal technician. This ensures the correct skin care is being used to achieve success with the treatment. This also allows the clinician to understand your needs and map out the skin journey that best suits your budget and availability.
What should I expect during the treatment?
The treatment feels similar to rubber bands flicking on the skin. Depending on the treatment being performed and the condition of the skin, the client may experience a warm sensation during and after the treatment. Pain is minimal with this treatment.
What will occur post treatment?
A response you can get is a histamine response that can be bumpy, itchy and sometimes pustular. This will go away in about 5 days, an antihistamine can be taken to help reduce the response.
